The name Kin is a tribute to that philosophy, rooted in family, heritage, and deep connections across Australia and New Zealand. It honours Jess’s late kiwi mum Jo, and dad, Rod, who Jess intended to start a business with before he passed away in 2022. Growing up with family across the ditch taught Jess early on, that a strong support network changes everything.
Though Rod isn’t here to see the doors open, his belief that “people make a business” is woven into every part of this business.
